Overall this is one of my favorite albums ever and it deserves to be one of yours too. Eno s solo debut here come the warm jets is a spirited experimental collection of unabashed pop songs on which eno mostly reprises his roxy music role as sound manipulator taking the lead vocals but leaving much of the instrumental work to various studio cohorts including ex roxy mates phil manzanera and andy mackay plus robert fripp and others. The album was one of brian eno s best selling releases charting for two weeks and peaking at number 26 on the uk albums chart on 9 march 1974 and number 151 on the billboard top lps tapes chart.
