The carpet seems relatively new ish and it was taken care of so it s okay. Carpet vaccume won t get everything.

More glue i was trying to see if maybe i could tell if there was a subfloor under this wood but the edge is capped. My preference is hardwood floor everywhere. The stairs and rooms upstairs have blue carpets that we want to replace.
